What will we study next??

Okay,
I'll go first. While I think all of these have a great deal to offer in a study. I tend to lean towards the the Anne Graham Lotz study, "I saw the Lord." I really like the idea of taking a passage of scripture to study on our own each week and coming together to see what surprises God has brought forth through each of us individually. In addition, the chapters sound terrific...Wake Up (Ezkiel), and Just Say Yes! (Isaiah). Oh My Gosh, these are just way too cool! I also am excited that Henry Blackaby is involved, I did not get to finish the "Expereincing God Study", but what I did get through was amazing! My second choice would be the Jim Cymbala study, "When People Pray". The video intro looks really powerful. It would be interesting to see what God teach's us through the power of learning about prayer together.
I like them all and just cannot decide! I am sure that I will be happy with whatever the group decides!!!! :)
I think I liked the Philip Yancy one about Prayer, does it make a difference? I agree with Jinna that I think one of the studies about prayer would be very beneficial to all of us. I know that is certainly something I need to work on. Thanks! Michelle

All of the books and studies sound really good so I won't be disappointed by any choice but I personally like the "Becoming a Contagious Christian." We have been learning so much about not just talking the talk, but getting out there and WALKING THE WALK. We have been encouraged to get out there and bring others to Christ. Time to put words into action. I think this book will help us figure out what the next steps are. It's just a feeling and a question I have "Well we know we are Christians bound together by our faith but what are we going to do next... Cassandra what are YOU going to do next?" I think even if we don't do this study I may just have to buy the book anyway. :)
I agree with Cassandra that "Becoming A Contagious Christian" would be a smooth transition and beneficial study to follow "The Purpose Driven Life." All options are good ones for studying, and I would hope that eventually JC Finders group will have the opportunity to cover them all.
