Prayer Request for Carla and Jinna's family!

Carla, Jinna and their girls, are all going on vacation this Saturday to Hatteras NC for a week.
It's the first vacation any of them have had in about 4 years, they ask that we all keep them in prayer for safe travel. This is a needed break and a blessing that they have been able to work it out.

You will all be in our prayers and have a WONDERFUL time on your vacation!!!!!

Prayer Request for Kerry's Mom!

I couldn't have said it better myself so I am just attaching Kerry's own words here!

Dear Everyone,

As most of you know, my mom has been sick for several weeks. During this time, she has been in the hospital 3 times and during one of those times, she spent 6 days in ICU due to being septic from a kidney infection. She continues to have other problems that the doctors have not been able to identify. She has had CT scans, blood work and many other tests which have provided no diagnosis for her condition. She is weak and has constant nausea and vomiting. She has lost over 20 lbs. Yesterday, she had a CT scan of her brain to rule out possible neurological issues. Tomorrow, my father and I will be taking her to the neurologist to get the results of that test. Please pray that there will be no findings. If neurological issues are ruled out, the next plan of action is to do a diagnostic lap (surgery) to go in and look around for the problem. The gall bladder is of primary concern.

Please pray that my mother's health would be restored. My mother is a Christian and is a very giving and kind person. I know that she trusts the Lord. I definitely can see God's hand working in a positive way in my relationships with my dad and my sister. This is already an answer to prayer.

Prayer Request for Connie B

This is a request I would like to post for Connie B from Pamela P. Both ladies are part of our JC Finders family and they are both truly giving and caring individuals.

From Pam:
I'm writing on behalf of Connie B, one of our precious Stephen Ministers at Northstar church, to ask for your help in providing food and lawn care for her as she recovers from surgery on 5/19/09. Because of multiple surgeries prior to this, her recovery is expected to take 6 weeks in which she will not be able to drive, lift, tote, or bend. Her college-age daughter that lives with her has a part-time job this summer and cannot be there all of the time. Her other daughter leaves on 5/20 for 2 months in Thailand.

Connie has been such a blessing to Stephen Ministry and is becoming an integral part of our JC Finders family. She is so very open and desires so much to help others going through difficult times in their lives. I pray we can rally and support her during her recovery time. Thanks for your consideration!
